finding a coelacanth in every game i can
OK so. I really like Coelacanths and I want as many as possible so i've been compiling a list of all the examples in video games I can find, with plans to play all these games just to the point of catching my favorite fishes. This includes things that are clearly supposed to be coelacanths as well, such as Relicanth from Pokemon, all sorts of fish called "Ancient Fish", and the Rockfish from Runefactory. Games where the coelacanth appears to be catchable or otherwise collectable are marked with a star ★. Here's my WIP list:

This idea is inspired by things like the incredible hazel's Flatwoods Monster video as well as by Dagnel's video Catching a Coelacanth in Every Animal Crossing Game!
My methodology has been to both ask everyone I know if they can remember any games with coelacanths, to reference pre-existing lists (there are very few), name search coelacanth on reddit and tumblr, and to so far scroll through about 150 fishing games on steam, name searching them in combination with "all fish" or "coelacanth" to see if anything comes up. That said, there are well over 1000 games tagged "fishing" on steam so if you have any leads at all HIT ME UP PLEASE
